IT Project Manager

The Automatic Systems group, a subsidiary of the Bolloré Group and whose head office is located in Belgium, designs and manufactures a wide range of access control equipment (electromechanical systems) for pedestrians and vehicles. Automatic Systems is currently seeking a:

IT Project Manager (M/F)


You oversee all aspects of a batch of the currently ongoing ERP implementation project, in order to complete them on time within budget and within scope. You work in collaboration with the Programme Manager to ensure that the different parts of the project fit together and contribute to the overall objective.

  • Managing the project on a daily basis
    • Ensuring resource availability and allocations
    • Monitoring progress and respect for scope – budget- timing and quality
    • Coordinate the delivery of project deliverables within the defined frame
    • Anticipate risks and opportunities and propose the necessary measures to manage them
    • Challenge the different aspects of the project in order to ensure that the expected benefits are met as the project progress
  • Working closely with the Programme Manager to ensure that the project lot is consistent with the rest of the project
    • Share information from the daily monitoring of the project: resources, progress, respect of scope, budget, timing, quality, risks and opportunities
    • Propose the necessary measures to adjust the project lot to the rest of the project constrains, risks and opportunities


  • You have a Master degree or equivalent work experience.
  • You can demonstrate relevant experience (at least 3 years) in IT Project Management, ideally in ERP deployment management projects
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the company business line, preferably in the industrial production sector
  • You are bilingual French / English
  • You are prepared to travel to the group’s international divisions
  • You are organised, can assess priorities correctly and are able to coordinate the different parts of a project.
  • You are customer-oriented and you perceive the needs and expectations of your customers.
  • You enjoy teamwork. Your sense of collaboration and mutual aid are recognised.
  • You are able to guide colleagues from a non-hierarchical position, motivate and coach them to achieve objectives
  • You have a good resistance to stress.
  • You have a structured approach to problem solving and an analytical mind.
  • Your broad and global vision allows you to anticipate future events.
  • You have excellent spoken and written communication skills. Your messages are clear, structured and understandable.
