The BP 56 swing barrier from AUTOMATIC SYSTEMS is a state-of-the-art solution specially designed for efficient traffic management in demanding environments such as motorways, tunnels and mobile bridges. Robust design :

Folded and welded sheet steel casing, varying in thickness from 3 to 10 mm for added strength.
Removable top cover, secured from the inside for easy access to the mechanism.

Advanced electromechanical technology :

250 W three-phase asynchronous motor coupled to a worm gear reducer for smooth, jolt-free movement.
Connecting rod/crank motion transmission system, guaranteeing gradual acceleration and deceleration, with mechanical locking in the open or closed position.

Performance and safety :

Operating time of just 9 seconds, with a capacity of 1,500,000 cycles between failures, with regular maintenance.
Adjustable torque limiter for maximum safety, accompanied by an emergency crank handle with circuit breaker for emergency situations.

Robust runner :

Reinforced oval-section aluminium rail (100 x 175 mm), enamelled white with red reflective stripes, up to a maximum length of 8 metres.

Flexibility and customisation :

Wide range of options available, including control solutions (button boxes, radio transmitters/receivers), signalling devices (LED lighting, traffic light management), and special treatments for salty environments.

Optimum protection:

Surface treatment with zinc phosphating, cataphoresis, and anti-rust paint for increased longevity, even in salty conditions.
